Job Description

The SEO Copy Writer works hand-in-hand with the Search Engine Optimization team to copy write website content, short advertising campaigns.

• Involved with developing web applications involving PHP / MySQL.
• Implementing PHP web applications with created MySQL databases.
• The ability to design database in MySQL based on client requirements.
• The ability to code websites in CSS / XHTML and / or PHP based on Photoshop documents.
• Will be responsible for the entire application involved in a lead role.
• Assisting and leading team members via problem solving and trouble shooting complex software engineering problems.
• Liaising with the Client and Onshore Team working on PHP technologies and application architectures.
• Should be able to estimate and plan projects by taking the entire responsibility of the project from concept to delivery.

Candidate Profile

• BS / MS / MBA (preferably in Computer Science / Systems)
• 4+ years of hardcore experience in design, development and programming on PHP / MySQL Platform.
• Should have hands on experience with PHP, MySQL, CSS, XHTML, Java Script.
• Excellent Understanding and Experience in design, development and implementation of web based solutions that employ leading open source technologies.
• Excellent Fundamentals, Thorough and Hands On Experience with:
1. eCommerce Implementation and Integration.
2. Content Management System Integration.
3. Intranet/Extranet Creation.
4. Site Updates and Version Control.
• Minimum 1 years experience in leading software development teams.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills required. Highly refined software engineering process facilitation skills with areas of business/functional specialization. Strong mentoring and counseling skills on software engineering.
• Experience managing development teams in onshore-offshore setting a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation skills.
• Has good understanding of SDLC performance metrics.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
