Search Engine Friendly (SEO) Content Writer / Copy Writer (Marketing Savvy)
Job Description
The SEO Copy Writer works hand-in-hand with the Search Engine Optimization team to copy write website
content, short advertising campaigns.
- Should be able to organize and improve web-marketing initiatives & content management using creative content writing, search engine friendly copywriting, proof reading, and editing.
- Should be able to co-ordinate between various team members for task inputs and suggestions to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Should be able to conceptualize, draft, execute, and maintain SEO friendly Website content, E-mail Campaigns, Press Releases and Short Advertising Textual Campaigns.
- Should have the flair of writing, reading and acquiring knowledge on various subjects, which includes technology, healthcare, tourism, shopping and other professional services.
Candidate Profile
- Post Graduate in any discipline (preferably English or communication) / MBA (marketing or Advertising) / Graduate or Diploma in Advertising or Web Journalism.
- Basic technical knowledge (GNIIT or equiv) for 1st degree desirable but not essential.
- Previous “outreach” experience in web site content management, web marketing or text campaign based advertising.
- Proficiency in document editing applications such as MS-Office Suite, Dreamweaver etc.
- Excellent Command on Written English
- Understands the difference between American and British English.
- Should be a team player, adaptable and flexible, self starter with good communication skill, confident at working with all levels of staff and external contacts.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Marketing Industry especially SEO will be an added advantage.
