Google reins European market as the Top European online property
As per report released by comScore, Google properties received most of the traffic from home and work computers during 2006. Out of the total sample of little over 215 million users, 156.3 million users visited Google properties. The chart for top properties was seconded by Microsoft site, which received 144 visitors, followed by Yahoo properties, which received 99.4 million visitors.

Google Launches Enterprise Software Solution
Google launched a free packaged business solution for enterprises today including online chat, email, calendars, and hosting. Called "Gmail for Your Domain " (a ghastly name that is only slightly better referred to as "Google Apps" within the actual admin area) this application package will allow a business owner or administrator to create a separate account per employee.

Yahoo introduces social bookmarking in UK
With the launch of Yahoo Answers for UK, Yahoo has further elaborated its presence in social bookmarking search. Yahoo Answers has been considered as a highly successful initiative in US and its release in UK would only make things difficult for Google - at least in social bookmarking. Google has already introduced Google Co -op to counter this uninterrupted progress of Yahoo. With the advent of two giants in this new field, online marketers have received a new channel to market offerings online.

Video Ads Booming Online
As per the report from emarketer.com, online video ads would receive a share of 8% of the total online ad spend by 2010. This medium would see an exponential growth in the coming years.
